On February 28th, 2024, the dog of the Slydell family, Hershey, escaped from the apartment in which the family was staying. She was never found and as of June 15th, 2024, she is still missing. Many people are suspicious of the circumstances of Hershey’s disappearance due to the fact that Tophia could not stay consistent with her story of what supposedly happened to her, and it is believed by some that the family had some involvement in what happened to her. On February 28th, Tophia came on live seemingly in hysterics. She reported that Hershey had gone missing from the motel. the story "About a week ago, there was some people here with a big black dog, right?...so anyways, I was sitting here, the door was cracked open, and I hear two dogs fighting, like, attacking each other, and I said, "that's Hershey", I-id recognize Hershey's growl anywhere, and so this big black dog ran up to my mom, ran up to Hershey, uhm, the door was cracked open, I thought because of (unintelligible)
