The Slydell Apartment is an apartment complex located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The formal name of the apartment is Villas Esperanza Apartment Complex. This apartment complex is the former residence of the Slydell family. It was the first location in Tophia lore. Under their ownership, the apartment was dirty, unkept, and had green crosses taped to the door and walls, that were placed by papachu. (possibly for mentally ill religious reasons.) Roaches were often seen crawling around the apartment. Shortly before the Slydells eviction, the apartment was gassed during a swatting event. During this time, Tophia and her mother had to stay in a homeless shelter.
Current Status
On February 25 2023, the Slydells were evicted. As a result, they no longer have ownership of the apartment.
