Tophia has an odd understanding of romantic relationships. This is likely rooted in the fact that she has never gotten into one (to our knowledge) and her interactions with other people have been limited to her family members for a very long time. When Tophia believes she likes someone, (be informed that the process of her liking someone just depends on their looks typically and she doesn’t know what real love looks like. Also note that these people she develops crushes on are high publicity influencers or celebrities so she is unable to exactly get any personal interactions with them and she will always be under the guise of being a fan.) she will gain a strange, almost creepy infatuation with them regardless of if they know of her existence or not. This involves posting repeatedly about them, constantly stalking and interacting with their social medias, treating them like they are both aware of each other’s existence and are “friends” or something more, and/or creating or using media of them in things she uses (e.g drawing them or making a picture of their face her keyboard). We both know that Tophia can’t bring herself to worry about anything important even though she has many important things to worry about, so it can be assumed that these crushes dominate her thoughts. Tophia will also interpret very simple, general, and non-romantic interactions with her crushes as them reciprocating her feelings, likely due to the aforementioned fact that she does not have healthy social interaction. It seems Tophia’s courting method is not affective as any men that Tophia pursues either blocks her, pretends that she doesn’t exist or deletes their social media presence entirely. Tophia’s crushes can be long or short lived
